The following videos are the initial testings to prepare for an exhibition of the new live version of the original Movement in Time, Part 2 project. Instead of using a selection of the famous martial art film fighting sequences, this version will use the Primesense depth sensing camera using the OpenNI and NiTE frameworks.
The first testing computed the optical flow of the depth image to retrieve the Chinese characters from the cursive style calligraphy database.
The second testing displayed the color image on top of the optical flow data of the depth image.
The third testing computed the flow information from the motion of the skeleton, in order to retrieve the closest matched Chinese characters from the database.
